Western Red Cedar
We produce a profile range of High quality No 2 Clear Cedar products. Western Red Cedar is one of natures most beautiful wood. In addition to offering a deeply textured grain and incredible warm colour. Naturally weathering off to a beautiful 'coastal' grey colour, however this can be retained with UV protection Oil.
Cedar is both highly durable and dimensionally stable. Western Red Cedar's natural Oils resist decay and also insects. An excellent choice for your cladding project large or small. We pride ourselves on the high quality supply of this product.
Siberian Larch
We also produce a profile range of the highest quality Siberian Larch. U/S 1-111 is the best grade and we pride ourselves on the quality and almost knot free content in the boards we machine.
Siberian Larch is often a very popular timber cladding choice for its appearance. It is regarded as having a very desired finish and provides beautiful colouring and texture which provide real character to each cladding panel. Siberian larch will in naturally weather to striking silvery grey colours, although UV protection oil will retain its natural colour.
It is a slow growth, high density softwood which makes it one of the hardest commercial softwoods available, one of the reasons why it is such a desired timber species. This high-density characteristic makes it very dimensionally stable, also durable and perfect for external cladding and decking.
Due to this durability, it is a wood that isn't as vulnerable to knocks, scrapes and scratches as other woods. This is an important aspect for exterior cladding.
